Perform welding on any equipment fabricated at this manufacturing location. Have the ability to tack and fit as needed in the shop. Must have passed AWS D14.6 and AWS D1.1 welding qualification tests. Can tig weld and pass a horizontal/vertical weld test.
A combination of training and strong welding experience is required for this position. High School diploma or GED required. Professional certification or successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is a plus.
Proven ability to consistently produce high quality and precision welds on all fabricated components. At least three years welding experience is a must.
Read and understand Robinson weld detail drawings, blueprints, welding procedures, and shop travelers. Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication. Attend continual education for welding process.
