We are seeking a Senior Midstream Compression Engineer to work in our Charleston, West Virginia office. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

Provide technical support for compressor stations nationwide.

Develop and implement efficient compressor configurations to maximize utilization and throughput.

Provide compression and facility expertise throughout project scoping, design, installation, and commissioning.

Provide compressor related information/data to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Conduct root cause analysis investigations.

Identify, scope, estimate and engineer capital and maintenance projects to provide long term solutions for compressor facility defects and issues.

Provide operational and maintenance recommendations.

Understand system operations and seasonal influences on operations.
-
Manage and implement processes to increase profitability.
-
Ensure operations and maintenance staff collaborate to optimize maintenance procedures and schedules.

Use analytical data to measure and monitor asset performance.

Establish performance goals for assets.
-
Provide support for facility audits to ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures, and governmental and industry codes.

Assist with PHMSA audit preparation and response.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-
BS degree in relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
-
5+ years industry experience with natural gas compression facilities is required.
-
Marcellus/Utica experience is preferred.
-
Software experience with Ariel Performance Program, Stoner, FastPiper and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Effective analytical skills are required.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively work closely with field teams, management, third party resources, and coordinate work with other appropriate technical resources.

Ability to handle rapidly shifting priorities and multiple projects concurrently, requiring resolution of complex problems in stressful situations is required.

In-depth knowledge of reciprocating compression and ancillary equipment is required.

Ability to understand and interpret DOT 192, ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.8, and API codes/standards are required.
