Our client, located in Plano, TX, is looking for a Senior Java and Web Developer to join their Healthcare Company. This position is on-site.
Responsibilities:
• Work independently and as a team lead in a senior role to develop browser-based solutions for clients
• Be involved in application business analysis and be able to interact effectively with clients both remote and on-site.
• Web application development using a variety of technologies.
• Application workflow design
• Java coding of independent applications
• Wireframing and UI/UX design
• Database analysis and design
• Participation in QA and Peer Code Review
• Development and integration to disparate systems via APIs and web services
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Interact directly with clients in meetings and via email
Qualifications:
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or 2-year Software/Computer technology diploma
- 4+ years experience with web development projects using a variety of technologies with experience as a team lead in a senior role
- Fully competent with HTML and JavaScript and competent with PHP, MVC and/or other web languages/technologies
- Fully competent with Java and building programs and tools to manage data.
- Solid relational database knowledge and SQL
- Fully competent with HTML and JavaScript and competent with PHP, MVC and/or other web languages/technologies
- Fully competent with Java and building programs and tools to manage data.
- Solid relational database knowledge and SQL
- Prior application development experience with a variety of business systems/applications.
- Experience with enterprise software/ERP.
- Experience with health care and HIPAA
- Solid web development foundations and strong aptitude to learn.
- Ability to switch hats from hands on development, team lead, business analyst with strong communication skills.
- Exercise good task and time management.
- UI/UX design modeling, wire framing is an asset Experience with source code management and dev/ops
