Job Description:

Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding their customer base, promoting their high-quality colorants and equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities, including cold calling, networking, and conducting market research.
  • Promote and sell their colorants and equipment, including pumping systems and tote mixers, to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and recommend custom color solutions.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical support, working closely with their skilled technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with company to ensure smooth and timely delivery of pigments and equipment.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and foster new relationships to secure repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to stay informed and identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in colorants, pigments, paint sales, concrete sales, or similar industry
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation, particularly related to pigment or chemical delivery, is a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally as required.
