Company is currently seeking the right individual to fill a Furniture Project Coordinator position. This individual will work directly with a member of the Sales team.

Pay: $45,000-55,000
Location: Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Overview: 

As a Furniture Project Coordinator, you will be expected to oversee the active projects from the proposal stage to invoicing for payment.  You will be working directly with the sales team, clients, and manufacturers, so communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essentials to be successful in this position.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Receive design specifications and generate proposals for clients
  • Using Team Design for day-to-day activities
  • Assist with the creation of PowerPoint presentations as needed
  • Create, place and track purchase orders
  • Verify vendor acknowledgements against purchase orders
  • Request labor quotes for furniture installations, including inter-market orders
  • Resolve and correct any pricing, ship to, fee or product discrepancies with vendors
  • Schedule product delivery and installation
  • Generate delivery tickets for installers and track shipments
  • Obtain proof of delivery for product shipments and project completion certificates from clients
  • Address unresolved installation issues in a timely manner
  • File all claims, both billable and non-billable
  • Organize and file all necessary documentation in project folder
  • Review backlog throughout the week to determine any necessary follow-up
  • Interact closely with manufacturers, installers and customers as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in accounting or business-related field
  • 1- 2 years’ experience working in accounting or business-related field
