Location: Export PA 15632 

We are looking for a human resources professional to drive the development of our human resources (HR) department. If you are looking for a challenge, this hands-on position might be right for you. 

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and document HR policies

  • Coordinate and streamline the recruiting and staffing process

  • Lead company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements, including any related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor, worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health  Administration (OSHA), etc.

  • Performance management and improvement systems

  • Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training

  • Researching, soliciting quotes, and making recommendations for insurance benefit providers

  • Compensation and benefits administration

  • Gathering and analyzing competitive salary data

  • Employee performance review

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an administrative HR role, including benefits administration

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR operations, finance, business administration, or a related field

  • Knowledge and experience in recruitment, employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee development

  • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR recognition and engagement programs and processes

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members

  • Excellent organizational management skills

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in interdisciplinary teams
