Job Title: HR & Field Support Coordinator
Reports to: HR Manager / Field Operations Manager
Position Overview:
The HR & Field Support Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to both the Human Resources and Field Services departments. The role includes managing employee onboarding, timecard processing, payroll support, compliance tasks, and employee record updates. This position is also essential in supporting field employees with onboarding, training coordination, and general HR-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Solutions HR Support:
Review and process employee timecards weekly.
Follow up with employees on missing or incomplete time entries.
Update employee records, including terminations, conversions, and new hire information.
Manage payroll adjustments such as bonuses, garnishments, and other time-related entries.
Complete employment verifications and assist with resolving pay-related inquiries.
Support supervisors and employees with timecard approvals and general payroll processes.
Process new hire paperwork, ensuring all employment documentation is completed accurately.
Participate in weekly HR meetings and report on key metrics.
Archive and manage employee data for onboarding and offboarding processes.
Handle employee benefits inquiries and updates.
Field Services HR Support:
Coordinate the onboarding process for field staff, including compliance checks, training setup, and documentation.
Maintain up-to-date employee certifications and records, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Manage quarterly random testing and other employee compliance requirements.
Handle employee pay adjustments, tax profile updates, and record-keeping for field employees.
Assist with ordering and distributing company-provided materials to field staff.
Create and manage onboarding and offboarding checklists to ensure smooth transitions for employees.
Provide support with compliance reporting and training coordination for field teams.
Participate in weekly field meetings to address ongoing support needs for field employees.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with HR processes, including onboarding, payroll, and compliance.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
Proficiency in using HR and administrative software tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with employees and supervisors.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate employee records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in HR or field services coordination.
Familiarity with compliance processes and reporting.
Experience with specific platforms such as Paycom, Beeline, Veriforce, and CIOP, and working with customers in industries like oil & gas (e.g., Kinder Morgan, Williams).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
