Location: Canonsburg, PA
Salary: $150,000-$175,000/year + incentives
Position Responsibilities (will vary depending on experience)
With guidance from peers & supervision:

Model gathering systems in order to evaluate design options or recommendations for gathering pipelines and compression facilities and proposes solutions or recommends alternatives

Provides engineering support for operations teams to ensure safe and reliable operation of natural gas gathering compression facilities and pipeline systems

Solves problems with existing systems with a focus on fixing breaks and system optimization

Evaluates design options or recommendations for gathering compression pipelines and facilities

Applies strong knowledge and background of engineering principles to gathering system analysis and design

Applies knowledge of industry codes and standards including applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, laws, and codes, ASME Piping Codes, DOT, and PHMSA rules and regulations.

Initiates or performs engineering studies, proposing solutions, or recommending alternatives

Provide analysis, design, specification, and cost estimates for natural gas gathering systems

Support engineering related activities as related to field construction projects. Provide technical support to field as needed
Desirable Skills
-
Required – Proficiency in hydraulic network and compression analysis software such as PIPER, SYNERGI GAS, or similar.

Knowledge of design, installation and commissioning of gas pipeline system including gathering and transmission pipelines, gas/liquid separation, heating and flow/pressure regulation, and measurement

Strong analytical, planning, organization, time management and critical thinking skills

Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings/schematics and other design documents

Effective in self-management of time with ability to self-start
Desirable Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Natural Gas, Industrial, Process) is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Natural Gas/Petrochemical industry
