SUMMARY
Prepares routine to moderately complex drafting projects, such as the preparation of various drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches utilizing CREO software. Follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assists in design drafting. Consults with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following.
- Creating models of parts and assemblies using the provided version of CREO software.
- Creating drawings accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Follows specifications as well as applicable national and international standards.
- Preparation and entering of Bills of Materials (BOM) into SAP system.
- Utilizes web based applications for MMRD, ECN and EAR execution.
- Assists Production, Industrialization, Sourcing and Quality departments as required.
- Carries out design and troubleshooting tasks independently if required.
- Additional duties may be assigned by the manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training.
- Specialized training and experience in CREO or equivalent 3D CAD software.
